YES Sets Sail for the 8th Annual Harbor Cruise

Youth Enrichment Services (YES) held its 8th Annual Harbor Cruise on Wednesday, June 26 with over 200 YES supporters aboard the Provincetown II. Hosted by the YES Young Professionals Committee, the cruise is an evening of celebration and appreciation for all the donors and volunteer who helped YES have a successful year. Highlights of the night included beautiful views of Boston, great music and dancing, fantastic raffles, and the presentation of the YES Volunteer of the Year Award.

YES Volunteer & Adventure Programs Manager, Ethan George (R), presents the Volunteer of the Year Award to Damita Canty Thompson (L).

The Volunteer of the Year Award was presented to Damita (Dee) Canty Thompson. Dee has been an Operations Snowsports volunteer for over three years, most recently volunteering with YETTI (Youth Excel Through Tailored Instruction) Advanced, a small group of youth who were more advanced and able to do more challenging skiing. Dee is known for her excellent attendance working in the YES ski shop, and for being a great volunteer to work with. We are so luck to have Dee with YES!

A special thank you to Bay State Cruise Company, DJ Michael Paganelli, Photographer Salma Kilaouy, and Soono! To view more photos from the night, click here.
