Bryan Van Dorpe
Executive Director
Bryan Van Dorpe has been the Executive Director of Youth Enrichment Services (YES) since 2008. Prior to joining YES, Bryan was the Executive Director at the South Boston Neighborhood House. He received his bachelor’s degree in English at the College of Holy Cross and then went on to receive a masters in Secondary Education at the University of Massachusetts Boston. In addition to his leadership background at other Boston nonprofits, Bryan has been coaching track and cross-country at Archbishop Williams High School and in youth programs for over 30 years.
Jamie Burch
Senior Director of Development
Jamie Burch serves as the Senior Director of Development at Youth Enrichment Services (YES), where she leads and oversees fundraising efforts. Prior to joining YES, Jamie was a key contributor to advancing the mission of several Massachusetts nonprofits, including social service agencies, youth organizations, and health-focused initiatives. She brings a deep commitment to supporting Boston youth and a proven track record in development. Jamie earned her bachelor’s degree in English from Regis College in Weston, MA.
Kristin Taylor
Director of Programs & Operations
Kristin Taylor (she/her) is the Director of Programs & Operations at Youth Enrichment Services (YES). Kristin has over 20 years of experience working with children and families who have experienced homelessness, youth involved in the juvenile dependency system, and affordable housing communities. Prior to this role, Kristin spent 6 years in California developing and implementing programs with a large nonprofit affordable housing developer. Kristin has an extensive background in social work and youth development and has held numerous leadership positions within transitional and permanent housing programs, community-based organizations, and out-of-school time programs. In addition to her professional experience with program development and management, Kristin is also an active volunteer with organizations serving youth and young adults in foster care. A graduate from Stonehill College with a degree in Sociology, Kristin has also obtained specialized certifications in Psychological and Mental Health First Aid, supporting LGBTQ+ youth in systems of care, and best practices in trauma-informed care approaches.
Adam Marks
Activity Coordinator
Adam Marks brings more than 17 years of experience in health, wellness, fitness, and community programming. He is an adjunct instructor at several local colleges and universities, teaching courses in public health, exercise science, nutrition, and health promotion. Adam is also the founder of ADM Training, LLC and actively coaches and mentors youth through programs such as Healthy Kids Running Series, Boston Public Schools after-school running programs, and the Dimock Center Road to Wellness initiative. His expertise in fitness, health education, and community engagement will be a valuable asset to YES' track & field program!
Anders Klumpp
Activity Coordinator
Anders Klumpp brings extensive experience in youth development, education, and coaching. He currently serves as a long-term substitute teacher and coach, working with students across grades 8–12. Anders has coached soccer, basketball, baseball, hockey, and youth ski and snowboard programs, and spent over a decade with YMCA Camp Chickami, progressing from counselor to administrator. He is passionate about outdoor recreation, youth mentorship, and creating engaging environments where young people can build confidence, resilience, and leadership skills!
Chris Cadogan
Data & Outcomes Specialist
Chris Cadogan (he/him) is originally from Dorchester, MA. He graduated from McGill University where he studied political science and international development. Chris has a long history with YES. He learned to ski through the Operation SnowSports program as a kid and participated in Leaderships Corps as a teen. Chris also worked as an Outdoor Adventure Leader during the summers through the MLK Summer Scholars Program. Chris is passionate about helping to advance the mission of YES and giving Boston youth opportunities to experience the outdoors!

Eric Wortman
Activity Coordinator
Eric Is employed full-time as an environmental scientist and part-time for YES as an Activity Coordinator to fulfill his other passion as an outdoor enthusiast. Eric is a seasoned runner and ran the Boston Marathon as part of Team YES. As an avid snowboarder, he believes that snowsports are a great activity to set kids outside and learn responsibility. Other than running, Eric participates in mountain biking, hiking, yoga, and gym classes.
Hallie Therrien
Development Manager
Hallie Therrien is the Development Manager at YES, where she works to assist with fundraising efforts and event planning. Originally from Chapel Hill, NC, Hallie graduated from Elon University with a degree in strategic communications and a minor in international relations. She is passionate about YES's mission to support Boston's youth and is excited to be a part of this amazing organization.
Isabel Thompson
Youth Program Coordinator
Isabel (she/they) is a Youth Program Coordinator. While studying Environmental Science, she discovered a passion for expanding the accessibility of outdoor education and sports. Isabel has experience working in many active fields including gymnastics, surfing, skiing and snowboarding. They also gained experience in outdoor program management for the Youth Special Programs at Breckenridge Ski and Ride School. Isabel is excited to contribute to YES's mission and community.
Jaisun Lewinski
Teen Leadership Program Manager
Jaisun (He/Him) is the Teen Leadership Program Manager at Youth Enrichment Services (YES). Jaisun has over 10 years of experience working with youth in various roles whether it be as a community organizer, teacher, or with multiple non-profits in the education sector as a program manager. With a degree in political science from Northeastern University, Jaisun is passionate about helping youth from marginalized backgrounds like his own by strengthening their relationship with what can be possible through critical dialogue, coaching, and mentorship. Jaisun uses a combination of his professional background and personal experience to inform his work.
Jason Jedrusiak
Equipment & Programs Specialist
Jason is a long-time member of the YES family who has worked and volunteered in various roles since joining the organization in 2008. Currently, you will find Jason supporting the YES Rental Shop during the winter (and on the slopes as well!) and in the summer he working at YES’s Outdoor Adventure Camp. Jason graduated from Northeastern University.
Kamilah Rowe
Assistant Director of Programs & Operations
Kamilah Rowe (she/her) is the Assistant Director of Programs & Operations at Youth Enrichment Services (YES). A Boston native, Kamilah brings over 15 years of combined experience in management, administration, early childhood education and coaching track & field at her alma mater, John D. O'Bryant High School. As a former NCAA Division I Track & Field athlete from Northeastern University, she integrates her athletic discipline with strong leadership abilities. Known for her proactive and community-focused approach, Kamilah is deeply committed to service and youth advocacy, actively serving on the boards of several non-profits in Roxbury and the broader Boston area. Her work emphasizes youth, fitness, and community initiatives within BIPOC communities in Boston. Kamilah holds a bachelor's degree in Social Sciences and Humanities with concentrations in African American Studies and Sociology from Northeastern University. In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor adventures, working out and spending time with her pet bearded dragon.
Katie Wakiyama
Activity Coordinator
Katie Wakiyama is a passionate volunteer for YES’ Operation Snowsports and Track & Field Programs. Katie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communications with a minor in Entrepreneurship from Elon University. At YES, she serves as a ski coach for Operation Snowsports program and a track and field coach, guiding youth athletes in distance running, springing, and javelin. In 2024, she represented YES as a Boston Marathon runner, raising awareness and funds to support YES’s mission of inspiring youth through outdoor education and recreation. Outside of YES, Katie also enjoys yoga, tennis and stationary bike workouts.
Kurtis Pierret
Outdoor Inclusion & Training Specialist
After graduating from high school, Kurtis started a journey across the country and the globe, gathering over 12 years of experience in the outdoor and education industries. He is really excited to work at YES and help youth become the best versions of themselves through time spent outside. His favorite activities include any form of paddling or sliding on snow.
Lailonie Johnson
Activity Coordinator (Summer Track & Field)
Lailonie brings strong leadership, multitasking, and youth engagement skills from her work at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center, BrookView House, and the Red Sox Team Store. She also brings a creative spirit as a poet and performer, using storytelling to connect with and inspire others. Lailonie’s dedication to fostering growth within teams and youth communities makes her a great addition to our program!
Libbie Kirkpatrick
Teen Engagement & Workforce Development Manager
Libbie joined YES in 2025. She brings prior experience supervising youth staff in an overnight summer camp environment alongside her passion for the outdoors! She has previously worked for REI in Boston, as well as lead the Nature & Aquatics Programs for Camp Downer in Vermont and facilitated the High Ropes Challenge Course at Syracuse University in New York.

Marias Farias is an experienced leader in youth development and education with a strong background in the nonprofit sector. Maria holds a Bachelor of Art in Foreign Language Education from Assumption University. Based in Dedham, MA, she brings over a decade of experience designing, coordinating, and managing programs that empower young people through learning and recreation. Before joining YES, Maria served as a Program Manager at Prospect Hill Charter School in Somerville, where she supervised educators and youth workers. She also spent several years with the YMCA of Greater Boston , where she coordinated after-school and summer camp programs focused on leadership, teamwork, and outdoor learning.
Nahima Soto-González
Volunteer Manager
Nahima serves as the Volunteer Manager at YES. Born and raised in Cataño, Puerto Rico, Nahima has always been passionate about sports and using sports as a way to connect and empower young people. Having been a volunteer herself with AmeriCorps VISTA in PR and the Peace Corps in Guatemala, Nahima understands how rewarding it is to serve and how important it is for the youth to have a positive role model in their lives. That is why her goal has always been how to better support volunteers in becoming positive role models for the youth all while also having fun. Nahima joined the YES team inspired by how creatively and positively YES has impacted the development of the youth of Boston by building strong and healthy relationships through sports. Nahima holds a BA in Modern Languages from the University of Puerto Rico at Río Piedras. When not working, Nahima enjoys doing mathematical puzzles, tending to her plants, watching thriller movies, and traveling
Selam Gidey
Teen Program Coordinator
I am Selam, and I graduated from Bridgewater State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health. I am passionate about supporting and helping people because of that, I did an internship with the Justice for Housing organization as a Housing Navigator. During the summer of 2023, I did an internship with the Dream program as a daytime camp counselor in Boston, MA, and that is where I discovered that I enjoy working with teens by supporting them to achieve their goals, and by helping them to try to learn new skills as they transform from teens to adults. Now I am here at YES, and I am excited as I continue to work with teens as they develop their growth through snow sports and other creativity as well.
Vanesa Morales

At Youth Enrichment Services, Vanessa Morales has volunteered for more than 20 years as a Trip Leader, Orientation Master, and Ski Instructor, guiding both youth and adult participants in outdoor recreation and leadership development. Vanesa holds a Bachelor of Science from Salem State University and a doctorate from Liberty University. She is a dedicated leader in program and project management advancing community-based initiative across the Greater Boston area. In addition to her longstanding commitment to YES, Vanesa serves as a Program Director at Bryce’s Journey, where she oversees programs supporting children and families with disabilities.
Victoria Baker
Special Events & Corporate Partnerships Manager
Victoria is the Corporate Partnerships and Events Manager at Youth Enrichment Services (YES), where she leads corporate engagement initiatives and manages special events to support the organization’s mission. Originally from Massachusetts, Victoria graduated from the University of Hartford with a degree in Marketing. She is passionate about building meaningful partnerships, creating impactful experiences, and empowering Boston’s youth through YES’s transformative programs.
