Elite Snowboarder, Myles Silverman, Choose YES as Charity Partner

April 9, 2021 by Meghan Burgess

Elite snowboarder and Olympic hopeful, 23-year-old Myles Silverman, is partnering with Youth Enrichment Services (YES) to give back to his home community of Boston. Myles grew up in Boston and later moved to Maine. He has won six National titles, five collegiate National titles, he made the US National team and is now on the path to the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.

Myles recently completed a collaborative video project with teens in the YES Leadership Corps Program. Click here to watch the video.

Through a video Q&A session, Myles shared the story of how he became a professional snowboarder. He emphasized that the path wasn’t always easy and that none of it would have been possible without support from his family and coaches. Myles explained his struggles, such as being injured, doubts from friends, and setbacks from school.
