Dear YES Alumni,
My father, Richard Williams, said he wanted to “give youth a chance” in Boston. Today, Youth Enrichment Services’ 100,000 alums are living proof of his vision! The YES Alumni circle was established in 2012 and it is an honor to chair the group in my father’s memory. We are thrilled to welcome you back as an alum and hope you will get involved with today’s YES.
Do you remember the first time you went skiing with YES? Or the first time you visited Swann Lodge? Do you look back fondly on these experiences and feel proud that YES helped you become the person you are today? YES continues to have this transformational impact on kids today.
Over 1,600 children come through YES’s doors every year now. YES is continuing to give youth the same opportunity to experience the outdoors and learn to believe in themselves. My father taught me – and thousands of other youth – if you can conquer the ski mountain, you can conquer anything!
Reconnect with your old friends by joining the YES Alumni Facebook page! Get updates about upcoming YES events, read about today’s youth, and see what other alums are up to. We have over 200 active Alumni Facebook members! (Not on Facebook? Join our Alumni LinkedIn group or sign up for the YES mailing list at yeskids.org.) We look forward to seeing you back at YES soon!
Sincerely,
Mark Williams
