Kids Day at the Boston Triathlon

The Columbia Threadneedle Investments Boston Triathlon is encouraging fitness and healthy activities in youth by introducing them to the multisport world. Boston’s only triathlon is inviting kids throughout Greater Boston to experience and combine a few of the different elements of a triathlon, including swimming and running at the annual Kids Day on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Carson Beach in South Boston.
The event will feature activities dedicated solely to kids, including the USA Triathlon-sanctioned Kids Splash & Dash for athletes ages 7-15 and a special Kids Fun Run down the official finish line of the race for athletes under the age of 7.
- Kids Splash & Dash, Ages 11-15: 200-yard swim, 1K run
- Kids Splash & Dash, Ages 7-10: 100-yard swim, 1K run
- Kids Fun Run, Ages 1-7: 100-yard run
