Youth Enrichment Services (YES) was recently awarded a $10,000 grant to support its Youth Excel Through Tailored Instruction (YETTI) and Cross Country Ski programs from the Killington World Cup Foundation (KWCF). An estimated 220 Boston youth will participate in the program during Winter 2023, which includes a scaled expansion of the YETTI Program.
Every winter at YES, hundreds of Boston youth get the opportunity to experience downhill skiing, snowboarding, and cross-country skiing through our Operation SnowSports programming. The YETTI program offers youth the opportunity to ski or snowboard multiple times throughout the season, learning with the same group of peers and instructed by the same volunteer coach. Youth benefit from the YETTI program model’s personalized instruction and coaching that is tailored to their specific needs. The Cross Country Ski Program introduces young people to the sport of Nordic skiing, a new experience and challenging activity for participants.
Thank you again, KWCF, for supporting youth snowsports programming!
