We are delighted to announce that as part of the “Vail Resorts Epic for Everyone – Inclusive Access & On-Mountain Grant Program,” Youth Enrichment Services (YES) has received 880 lift tickets to Mount Sunapee and 100 lift tickets to Crotched Mountain for our 2024 Operation SnowSports season!
This generous donation will allow over 700 Boston youth to learn how to ski and snowboard in our single-day YES Kids Experience, or the YETTI (Youth Excel Through Tailored Instruction) Experience this winter. The YETTI experience offers youth the opportunity to ski or snowboard with the same group of peers for four pre-determined days throughout the season.
Thank you to Vail Resorts for this incredible gift and support for YES’ flagship program. This support will help Boston youth have the opportunity to experience the outdoors, develop confidence on the slopes, and build leadership skills.
About Vail Resorts Inclusive Access & On-Mountain Grant Program
Vail Resorts is committed to the health and sustainability of our local communities. Annually, they give over $28.2 million in cash and product contributions to more than 400 nonprofit organizations. This investment served over 11,000 youth through outdoor snow sports last year.
Senior Manager of Inclusive Access Travis Tafoya says, “Community giving, in conjunction with local employee leadership and volunteering, helps us to be more than a corporate funder, but rather a partner who takes a seat at the table when it comes to addressing the most pressing community issues.”
