Mattapan teen and YES Junior Volunteer, Aaliyah Yarde, was featured in the Dorchester Reporter for her inspiring speech at the YES Black Diamond Gala. Aaliyah delivered her speech to 400+ guests on April 7 at Royale. During her speech, Aaliyah told the crowd, “The inclusion and sense of community I experience at YES is something I’ve never experienced anywhere else.”
