Youth Enrichment Services (YES) is thrilled to welcome two new individuals to the YES Board of Directors, and five new individuals to the YES Board of Trustees. To learn more about each of our seven new board members, see their biographies below!
New Board of Directors
Marie Daniel – Marie has served on the YES Board of Trustees since 2020 but has been part of the YES family for almost 10 years with her son, Max. Additionally, she is a long-time active member of the Gala Planning Committee. Marie is honored to continue her service to YES and step up to the Directors level. She works as a Director at Boston University’s School of Public Health.
Payson Swaffield – Payson has served on the YES Board of Trustees since 2021. He is a member of the Finance Committee and also serves on the Richard Williams Memorial Scholarship Committee. Payson didn’t hesitate to continue his service to YES and step up to the Directors level. He recently retired from Eaton Vance as their Chief Income Investment Officer.
New Board of Trustees
Noah Parekh – Noah has been a friend and fan of YES for several years. He currently serves on the YES Strategic Planning Committee and looks forward to expanding his role as a leadership volunteer. Noah is a Partner with the Chase Search Group.
Margaret Sanderson – Margaret was introduced to YES by her father, Ian Sanderson, and has been volunteering with YES for several years in various capacities including an Operation SnowSports volunteer and member of the Young Professionals Committee. She is thrilled to expand her service to the organization as a trustee. Margaret is an Advisory Services Analyst with Mathematica.
Jim Stephenson – Jim has been a YES supporter for several years. He is pleased to join his friend and colleague, Chris Peabody, as a leadership volunteer. Jim is Chief Executive Officer at CHA Holdings.
Richard Ward – Richard is stepping down from the YES Board of Directors to instead serve as a Trustee. Richard has showcased incredible dedication to YES that spans decades. As many of you know, Richard is a respected leader in non-profits and philanthropy. He currently works for the Boys & Girls Club of Boston as an Associate Vice President. Thank you, Richard, for your many years of service to YES and your continued support as a trustee!
Kyle White – Kyle grew up as a student-athlete and knows the positive impact that sports and getting outdoors can have on a young person. Kyle has been a YES fan for many years and is thrilled to expand his role at YES as a Trustee. He currently serves on our Strategic Planning Committee and recently led a successful fundraising effort for YES through his employer. Kyle is a Client Portfolio Manager with Income Research & Management.
