Youth Enrichment Services (YES) has been selected to receive a $10,000 Youth Fitness Revolution Grant through The Reebok Foundation. The Reebok Foundation’s Youth Fitness Revolution Grant is a new pilot grants program which focuses on increasing the number of fit and active youth in the United States. The Foundation seeks to support organizations and programs that will increase participation in physical activity opportunities for youth in grades K-12 and their families.
YES was chosen for the Youth Fitness Revolution Grant during a highly competitive review process. The funding will enable YES to increase access to physical activity and promote healthy lifestyles to Boston-area youth through YES’s Operation SnowSports, Outdoor Adventure, and Track & Field programs. These programs are designed to help youth embrace a healthier lifestyle by encouraging them to get outdoors and be physically active in all seasons.
“All of us at YES are thrilled that Reebok selected our organization to receive a 2017 Youth Fitness Revolution Grant,” said Bryan Van Dorpe, Executive Director at YES. “We look forward to continuing our collaborative efforts with Reebok to give Boston youth access to year-round physical activity in the outdoors.”
About The Reebok Foundation: The Reebok Foundation is committed to supporting Massachusetts-based 501 (c) (3) approved non-profits who provide youth and families from underserved communities, access to fitness and physical activity programs.
