Youth Enrichment Services (YES) has been selected to receive a $25,000 grant from BNY Mellon. The grant will support capacity building and expansion within the organization’s Career Exploration program for Boston high school students.
YES was chosen for the grant during a highly competitive review process. The funding will enable YES to expand its Career Exploration program which provides weekly skill-building and educational workshops for teens to gain job readiness skills. An estimated 100 students will served during the 2016-17 school year. “All of us at YES are thrilled that BNY Mellon selected our organization to receive this grant,” said Bryan Van Dorpe, Executive Director at YES. “This funding will have a tremendous impact on Boston teens as we look to expand our efforts to set up our students for success in the workplace, classroom, and in the outdoors.”
