Day Camp Teen Counselor (June 26 – August 22, 2025)
As part of the MLK Scholars Program, YES is seeking Day Camp Teen Counselors to support YES’s Outdoor Adventure program, which offers youth the opportunity to get outside, have fun, and stay fit. The Day Camp Teen Counselor is directly hired and managed by the Teen Career Coordinator and is supervised in the programs by additional staff members.
Applicants must be 16-18 years old, live in Boston, and obtain a work permit by June 10, 2025. Priority will be given to teens who participated in the YES Leadership Corps Program and/or worked for YES previously.

Development Office Intern (June 26 – August 22, 2025)
As part of the MLK Scholars Program, YES is seeking a teen intern to support YES’s Development Office which oversees fundraising, event planning, and marketing for the organization. YES is seeking a professional, detail-oriented, and organized intern for the summer. This is a great opportunity for a high school student who wants to learn and gain professional experience in a non-profit, learn development & fundraising essentials, utilize research skills, refine their writing skills, and understand the strategic importance of events. The Summer Development Intern is directly hired and supervised by the Senior Director of Development and will also work under the Development Coordinator and other YES staff while performing work in programs.

Track and Field Assistant Coach (June – August 2025)
YES is seeking Track & Field Assistant Coaches to support youth programs, introducing participants to track and field while promoting healthy lifestyles and physical development. Positions are available at English High School in Jamaica Plain or Moakley Park in South Boston from June 23rd – August 14th, 2025.
Coaches will be responsible for collaborating with program leaders, mentoring youth, leading activities, and supporting program operations. The role requires working weekday evenings and participating in required training.
Applicants must be 14-19 years old, authorized to work in the United States, and obtain a work permit by June 1, 2025. Priority will be given to those with previous YES Track & Field program experience.

Teen Leadership Program Manager
YES is seeking a Teen Leadership Program Manager oversees year-round YES programs involving high school participants, including Leadership Corps and teen employment/career development operations. This is a key role that facilitates and supports the Leadership Corps program objectives of preparing teens with leadership skills, career exploration and life skills. The focus of this position is to create an intentional pipeline and pathway for success between entry level programming (YES core programs) and high impact teen leadership programs (Leadership Corps and teen employment).

Teen Career Coordinator
YES is seeking a Teen Career Coordinator to support youth leadership and employment programs. This full-time, in-person role focuses on developing career pathways for teens through outdoor experiences and leadership opportunities. The Teen Career Coordinator will supervise teen staff, coordinate employment programs, and facilitate career exploration events. Responsibilities include managing Leadership Corps, supporting college tours, and building mentorship networks.

Development Intern (Fall 2025)
On-site internship. 8-15 hours per week. YES is seeking a professional, detail-oriented, and organized intern for the Fall semester. This is a great opportunity for a college student who wants to learn and gain professional experience in events, development/fundraising essentials, utilize research tools, refine their writing skills, and understand the strategic importance of events.
This position will be based at the YES office in the South End. This internship will start in September 2025 and December 2025 with the possibility to renew for Spring 2026 semester. This is an unpaid internship, but we will provide what is needed by your institution to allow for class credit/work study status.
